About the Role

We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to support our successful teaching assistant team. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work across the curriculum in either Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 as part of an experienced team of Teaching Assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the educational aims of the school by working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those who require additional support.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral and inclusion teams to provide a holistic approach to supporting pupils.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies for pupils with SEN.
  • Participate in regular CPD opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in supporting pupils with SEN.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in schools, preferably in secondary or primary settings, and with young people with SEN.
  • Ability to form positive working relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • High aspirations for all learners with SEN.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
