Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Early Years

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our Reception pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, including phonics sessions and interventions.
  • Assist with classroom activities and lesson preparations, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
  • Support all students, including those with additional needs, to promote inclusion and a positive school culture.
  • Contribute to a calm and nurturing approach, developing relationships with pupils and staff.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and relevant experience working with children in a school setting.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service and Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding practices and experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £12.90 - £13.50 per hour.
  • A full-time position, working 8:30am – 3:30pm.
