  • In this dynamic position, you will be instrumental in supporting NatWest Markets along with the Commercial and Institutional division.
  • Your role will involve delivering financial and commercial insights that will shape strategic decisions and influence key business outcomes.
  • You will be tasked with reviewing and contributing to strategic and financial planning, forecasting, and stress testing, while providing business leaders with critical themes and analyses.

Your Responsibilities

As a Finance Strategy Partner, you will leverage your market knowledge and insights to assist the leadership team in making informed decisions regarding products, costs, and investments relevant to the franchise.

Your key activities will include:

  • Evaluating the impact of financial regulatory changes on products and services.
  • Employing data analytics to address strategic challenges using cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborating with our Finance Centre of Excellence to deliver tailored financial plans, forecasts, stress tests, and analyses related to customers, markets, or segments.
  • Assessing and questioning resource utilization presented in investment proposals and business cases.
  • Conducting investment tracking and forecasting evaluations.

Strong planning and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to navigate ambiguity, uncertainty, and risk while thriving in a flexible work environment.

  • The aptitude to develop and assess plans, forecasts, models, and stress scenarios.
  • Strategic insight and the ability to apply business acumen to support the organization, particularly in investment banking.
  • Solid knowledge of finance functions, accounting principles, and insights into product areas and market segments.
