About the Role

Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organization, is seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Financial Services Manager to lead the delivery of financial services for adults. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the effective management of adult social care services.
  • Lead the team in delivering financial assessments, direct payments, and debt recovery services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures related to adult social care financial services.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on financial matters related to adult social care.
  • Manage complex cases and apply discretion and judgment in relation to policy guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, care providers, and other organizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and policy changes affecting adult social care financial services.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as social work, finance, or business administration.
  • Substantial experience in leading financial services teams in adult social care.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with a track record of developing staff and improving performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policy changes affecting adult social care financial services.
