Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at Source4 Personnel Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and engage with potential customers to generate new business leads and opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Quotations and Proposals: Create and deliver competitive quotations and proposals to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
  • Problem Solving and Resolution: Address and resolve any technical or delivery issues that arise, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Order Management and Fulfillment: Oversee orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective communication with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual understanding.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Business Development and Sales: Proven experience in business development and sales, ideally within a technical or B2B environment.
  • Product Knowledge and Understanding: Ability to quickly understand a large product range and provide accurate information to customers.
  • Initiative and Negotiation: Capable of working independently, producing quotes, and negotiating prices with customers.
  • Customer Focus and Problem-Solving: Strong focus on customer service with a problem-solving approach, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Team Player and Self-Motivation: Conscientious, reliable, and able to work well within a team while maintaining efficiency and diplomacy.
  • Sales Leads and Technical Proficiency: Ability to generate and follow through on sales leads, with experience working with computerized stock and quotation software.
  • Educational Background: Good GCSE and A-level results are required. An HNC/HND or degree would be beneficial but is not essential.
