Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our Direct SME team at LeasePlan UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business-to-business sales and a strong understanding of the car industry or contract hire sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Work closely with our Service Delivery teams to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

  • Contribute to the development of innovative sales strategies and tactics to stay ahead of the competition and drive business growth.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in business-to-business sales with a strong understanding of the car industry or contract hire sector.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze sales data and identify trends.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • High level of commercial and financial awareness with the ability to recognize opportunities for profitable business.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and manage own workload.

  • Ability to take ownership of issues and confidently delegate non-sales related tasks.

  • High levels of integrity and a professional approach in all customer interactions.
