We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our Direct SME team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, converting, managing, and developing new business opportunities within LeasePlan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the entire new business process, suggesting innovative and reasoned ideas to maximise new customer sign up.
  2. Ensure customers understand the LeasePlan service and are aware of how their account will be managed.
  3. Contribute to the overall success of the LeasePlan team by both personal performance and team spirit.
  4. Be involved with any ad hoc projects as may be required within LeasePlan.
  5. Identify and evaluate risks within the department/function (including errors, fraud and inappropriate procedures) and take appropriate measures to manage these.
  6. Ensure sufficient business controls are in place to minimise exposure to risk – to include system access controls.

Requirements:

  1. Fluent in business English language - written and verbal.
  2. Good PC and technical skills with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  3. Customer driven with a proven ability to build long-term relationships and provide creative and innovative solutions to a wide variety of customers.
  4. High level of commercial and financial awareness with an ability to recognise opportunities for profitable business.
