About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our Direct SME team at LeasePlan UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, converting, managing, and developing new business opportunities within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and prospect new customers, convert them into LeasePlan UK clients, and manage their accounts to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Outbound Calling: Focus on a high level of outbound calling to ensure maximum contact ratio and achieve individual and departmental sales targets.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the entire new business process, suggesting innovative and reasoned ideas to maximize new customer sign-up and improve overall sales performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure customers understand the LeasePlan UK service and are aware of how their account will be managed, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Service Delivery teams to deliver the goal of total customer service and contribute to the overall success of the LeasePlan UK team.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Ensure all customer and management reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Be involved in any ad hoc projects as may be required within LeasePlan UK, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify and evaluate risks within the department/function, taking appropriate measures to manage these and ensure sufficient business controls are in place to minimize exposure to risk.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Fluent in business English language - written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills: Good PC and technical skills with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Leadership and Communication: Be inspirational, act as a role model for LeasePlan UK sales people, and endorse the LeasePlan UK sales process.
  • Customer Focus: Display a positive attitude at all times, be a good active listener, and recognize and act on potential buying signals and sales opportunities.
  • Commercial Awareness: Have a high level of commercial and financial awareness, recognizing opportunities for profitable business and making informed decisions.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, well-organized, and able to plan and manage own workload.
  • Integrity and Professionalism: Demonstrate high levels of integrity, adopt a professional approach in all customer interactions, and be seen as direct, open, and honest in all dealings.
