Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nursing Associate to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health and psychological needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.
  • Clinical Care and Advice: Provide clinical care, specialist nursing advice, and psychological support to patients and their families.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality care.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document and report patient information, communicating changes and updates to the nursing team and multidisciplinary team.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Demonstrate a problem-solving approach to effectively execute planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized plans of care.
  • Complex Communication: Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively to patients, families, and staff, overcoming barriers to understanding and providing support during distressing or emotional events.
