We are seeking a skilled Nursing Associate to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Trust. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with intellectual disabilities, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, evidence-based assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the assessment of children and young people with intellectual disabilities, working collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Hold a caseload of patients and receive supervision from a registered Nurse, ensuring high-quality care and support.
- Contribute to Multi-Disciplinary Team working, delivering holistic, evidence-based assessments and interventions.
- Deliver specific therapeutic interventions to meet the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of individuals and carers.
- Understanding of the needs and difficulties of children with intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize own delegated workload.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to recognize own limitations in the context of the nursing associate role.
- Understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans.
- Ability to participate in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities.
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
- Completion of Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification.
