Job Summary:

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting practice, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing expert financial guidance to help them achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Review financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and charities to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for financial planning and analysis.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax computations, self-assessment returns, and corporation tax returns for clients.
  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of client work, including reviewing work in progress levels, undertaking client billing, and managing deadlines and prioritizing work effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of 6 and review the work of trainees to ensure high-quality financial services are delivered to clients.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualification or qualified by experience with at least two years at manager level gained in an accounting practice.
  • Skills and Experience: A good working knowledge of a wide variety of business accounts, income, corporation, and capital gains taxes, and accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage.
