Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at GB001 Marsh Ltd. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and retaining a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, identifying and winning new business opportunities, and delivering sales and growth with a focus on commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring excellent client retention and growth.
  • Identify and win new business opportunities, generating leads and following up to build a strong pipeline of potential commercial clients.
  • Deliver sales and growth with a focus on commercial businesses, utilizing your relationship building and stakeholder management skills to maintain and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and to develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and other sales teams, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in generating new business from pipeline data, with a strong track record of sales success.
  • Experience within the Transport, Logistics, and Haulage sector, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of commercial insurance products and services.
