Reception and Administrative Support Specialist

The Calvary Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled and organized Reception and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Manage patient flow, coordinate appointments, and ensure a smooth and efficient experience for patients and families.
- Process and issue prescriptions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Good customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic IT skills and proficiency in software applications, including EMIS web.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
The Reception and Administrative Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing administrative support to the healthcare team.
