Job Overview

Band 2 Administrative Support Specialist - 15 hours per week (Tuesdays & Fridays)

We are pleased to announce a rewarding opportunity for an Administrative Support Specialist within our healthcare organization. This role is integral to our reception and administrative team.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication, and IT capabilities, enabling them to deliver outstanding service to patients, both face-to-face and via telephone, as well as to other service users.

Successful applicants will be self-driven, able to thrive under pressure, and enjoy engaging with a diverse range of individuals.

The position offers a supportive environment with a dynamic team committed to your professional growth. A compassionate, efficient, and respectful demeanor is essential, along with the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a bustling Imaging Department.

Comprehensive training will be provided for the Radiology System.

Previous experience in the NHS is advantageous but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses a variety of reception and administrative tasks, including:

  • Inputting and extracting data from the patient administration system (PAS) and the departmental CRIS system (Computerised Radiology Information System).
  • Searching the patient database for existing records, ensuring accuracy and currency of all records.
