We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reception and Administrative Support Professional at Priory Medical Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors to the practice, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Assist patients with queries, either in person, over the phone, or electronically, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain the safety and comfort of patients, adhering to our practice's high standards of care.
  • Accurately record appointments, financial transactions, and other administrative duties, ensuring the integrity of our patient records.
  • Participate in recalls for patient health checks, helping to ensure our patients receive the necessary care and attention.
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance personal competency and contribute to the practice's continuous improvement.
  • Comply with confidentiality protocols and adhere to all practice policies and procedures.

Person Specification

  • Essential:
    • Computer skills, including proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience working in primary care, with a strong understanding of the sector's specific challenges and requirements.
    • Proficiency in using Emis Web Systems, or similar electronic patient record systems.
