Job Summary

The Calvary Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled and organized Reception and Administrative Support to join our team. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Manage patient records, including updating medical history, allergies, and medications.
  • Process and issue prescriptions, as well as maintain accurate records of medication administration.
  • Coordinate appointments, visits, and telephone consultations, ensuring timely and efficient communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control procedures and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Good customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in EMIS web and other practice software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
