About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Reception Specialist to join our team at Yew Tree Medical Centre in Liverpool. As a key member of our reception team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.

This is a full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-6:30pm. Candidates must be able to commit to these hours as they are essential to the success of the practice.

As a Healthcare Reception Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, answering phone calls, responding to queries, and handling paperwork efficiently. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing prescriptions, and updating patient information.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year's experience working in a GP practice or similar setting. You will require a strong understanding of Emis software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills. They will possess a positive attitude, be empathetic, and provide excellent customer service.
