We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Reception and Administration Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide reception and administrative duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the work environment.

About Us

Mersey Care is one of the largest trusts providing physical health and mental health services in the North West, serving over 1.4 million people across the region.

We offer specialist inpatient and community services that support physical and mental health, as well as learning disability, addiction, and brain injury services.

Main Duties
  • Provide reception services for patients, staff, public, internal and external customers and organizations.
  • Answer telephone calls using the switchboard system, receive and process incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
  • Sort and distribute mail to all departments.

The ideal candidate will have good organization skills, ability to work in a confidential and sensitive manner, and experience of handling cash/raising invoices relating to patient charges.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of general administration office skills, including filing, photocopying, faxing, and note-taking.
  • Ability to work without supervision and plan, prioritize and schedule own work.
Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary £19,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including flexible working options.
