Reception and Administration Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Reception and Administration Team Member at Priory Medical Centre. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer service setting and be willing to learn new skills to adapt to our fast-paced environment.
Main Duties
- Answering telephone calls and welcoming patients
- Assisting patients with queries and general office duties
- Dealing with patient queries and clinical coding
- Summarizing and answering subject access requests
About Us
Priory Medical Centre is a dynamic and supportive team consisting of 5 GP partners, 6 salaried GPs, 4 Practice Nurses, and 8 reception/administrators. We are part of the Anfield and Everton Primary Care Network and work closely with network staff, including Pharmacists, Paramedics, Social Prescribers, and Care Coordinators.
Job Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors to the practice
- Assist patients on the phone, electronically, and in person
- Help maintain the safety and comfort of patients
- Maintain records of appointments, financial transactions, and other administrative duties
- Keep patient records accurate and up to date
- Participate in recalls for patient health checks
- Maintain skills and undertake training and development as required
- Comply with confidentiality protocols and practice policies
