Job Overview

SGS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to provide administrative services to our Industrial and Environmental service departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
  • Assist the QHSE/Operations Coordinator with requests and tasks.
  • Perform administrative, operational, and clerical tasks to maintain departmental compliance.
  • Enter certification data into the reporting system accurately and efficiently.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal customers.
  • Assist with the booking of technicians' work and invoicing processes.
  • Interact with suppliers and clients to procure spares and equipment as required.
  • Support the Senior Engineer in ensuring client documentation requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Provide backup support to the QHSE/Operations Coordinator during absences.
Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
  • Desirable qualifications include recognized administrative skills certifications and IOSH Managing Safely.
