Key Responsibilities

We are seeking proactive and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Assistants to become part of our interdisciplinary team within our Community Intermediate Care Centre (CICC). This facility will concentrate on delivering high-quality, integrated care for patients from the local adult population with sub-acute healthcare requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver individualized care to patients in accordance with their care plans. The care will be organized and evaluated by Registered Nurses and Therapists and provided under the direct oversight of registered nurses or other members of the interdisciplinary team.

To join our interdisciplinary team, you must possess:

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or demonstrable equivalent experience. A caring and compassionate demeanor A strong commitment to assisting others Effective communication skills

The position entails a 7-day working schedule.

About Us

The CICC comprises integrated teams of health and care professionals, including Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers. The unit will serve as a crucial step-up/step-down facility that aids in the recovery and rehabilitation of our patients following medical and surgical conditions, as well as providing palliative care and managing the planning of complex discharge arrangements. One of the core principles of the unit is to support our patients in their reablement and self-care, encouraging them to achieve their highest level of independence.
