Key Responsibilities

- Deliver a comprehensive Occupational Therapy service tailored to meet the needs of adults with learning disabilities, particularly those with complex and profound challenges.

- Manage a designated caseload of adult clients, employing person-centered approaches to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices.

- Function autonomously within community settings as a member of an integrated community team.

Essential Qualifications

  • HCPC Registration
  • Minimum of 18 months post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in Learning Disability services
  • Knowledge of postural management techniques
  • Familiarity with sensory integration practices
  • Experience in supervising others or holding an L'apple qualification
