Scrum Master Opportunity

Location: On-site, Basingstoke

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Scrum Master to guide an established Scrum team that is currently implementing SAFe Agile methodologies. Your mission will be to ensure that the team meets customer expectations in a dynamic and evolving environment.

In this position, you will utilize your extensive experience to offer guidance, insights, and support across the delivery team, particularly focusing on design, agile execution, program management, and service deployment and transition.

You will play a crucial role in Agile sprint management by leading and facilitating essential agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, end-of-sprint reviews, and retrospective meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timeline Management: Direct the scrum team in applying Agile principles and scrum methodologies.
  • Facilitation: Organize and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Problem Resolution: Address challenges and issues, managing solutions, corrective actions, lessons learned, and the sharing of pertinent information.
  • Backlog Support: Assist the Product Owner and Teams in identifying techniques for backlog prioritization and conflict resolution to enhance value delivery.
  • Impediment Removal: Ensure that obstacles are recognized and eliminated by the development teams and the Product Owner, coaching the scrum team on how to overcome these barriers.
  • Cultural Development: Collaborate with other Agile Team Coaches and colleagues to promote a cultural shift—fostering an environment characterized by trust, respect, simplicity, transparency, agility, and enjoyment.

This position requires you to obtain and maintain a high level of Security Clearance prior to starting the role.
