Overview

At Foot Locker, we believe in creating an environment where our team thrives. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding your colleagues to enhance their skills in delivering an outstanding in-store Customer Experience. Your leadership will encompass various aspects of the Customer Experience, including store operations, training, employee management, visual merchandising, and asset protection. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will take on all managerial responsibilities. Your success will be evaluated based on your ability to drive sales and achieve profit objectives for your designated store.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership capabilities with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-oriented sales environment.
  • Comfortable and confident in engaging with customers to provide an elevated shopping experience.
  • Driven to achieve exceptional results through enthusiasm for customer interactions and athletic merchandise.
  • Adaptable and resourceful in responding to evolving demands and opportunities in a fast-paced omni-channel retail landscape.
  • Proactive in completing tasks and activities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including problem-solving, decision-making, and financial analysis.
  • High standards of ethics, values, integrity, and trustworthiness.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities

  • Inspire and motivate your team to drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about all products and collaborating with colleagues to provide excellent sales support.
  • Meet and exceed sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
  • Ability to learn and share expertise on products and trends to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain awareness of all product knowledge, as well as current and upcoming trends.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
