Job Title: Senior Facilities Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facilities Officer to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital facilities, providing exceptional customer service to our patients and staff, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Patient Access Leader in the management and development of high-quality services offered by the Patient Access Department.
  • Provide hands-on supervision for the day-to-day operational aspects of all functions within the team, ensuring effective communication and guidance to colleagues at all times.
  • Ensure that all patients meet the HCA criteria for successful and full financial settlement, whether sponsored or self-funded.
  • Support the Patient Access Leader in organizing staffing to ensure no gaps in service (rota management).
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of basic medical terminology.
