About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Programme Associate to join our Housing and Homelessness Programme team at Oak Foundation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the programme director and team in their grant-making activities, research, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on housing and homelessness issues to inform grant-making decisions
  • Manage the grant-making project management system and monitor the grant-making budget
  • Take a substantial role in implementing our monitoring, learning, and evaluation strategy
  • Conduct research on potential new partners and keep abreast of relevant policy issues
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and regular review of the programme strategy
  • Provide administrative support to the programme director, including diary management and event organisation
  • Provide administrative support to the London office, as required
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience of working for a not-for-profit organisation or development organisation, ideally in a housing and homelessness policy and research role
  • Demonstrable experience and confidence in all Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Interest in housing and homelessness
