Overview of the Sales Finance Coordinator Role: This position plays a crucial role in supporting both Finance and Sales departments to enhance the Air Conditioning sector for Climate Solutions.

Reporting directly to the UK Finance Accountant, the role encompasses customer account management, credit oversight, sales force administration, tender submissions, and general sales assistance, with the objective of positioning the client as a market leader in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Finance Coordinator:

  • Gather, validate, and maintain precise customer account documentation, process new account requests, and oversee customer master data within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Accountant to enhance accounts receivable (AR) collections, manage the dunning process, supervise the outsourced collection team, and address bad debt filings.
  • Engage in daily accounting tasks, including reconciliations and resolving invoice disputes, while assisting in assessing credit risks and setting credit limits in accordance with company policy.
  • Foster relationships with external insurers and brokers to secure credit limits, ensuring all customer account forms, contracts, and NDAs are current and properly organized.
  • Assist the Sales team with tender submissions and the administration of Sales Force, preparing relevant and ad-hoc sales reports as required.

Essential Competencies for the Sales Finance Coordinator:

  • Background in company administration and finance, including bookkeeping and account management.
  • Understanding of credit control processes (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable).
  • Proficient in IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong project management abilities, capacity to perform well under pressure, and a professional demeanor.
