Cedar is seeking an experienced Group FP&A Manager to head the budgeting and forecasting for the UK entity. This is a key role in facilitating the company's growth and expansion through the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the monthly end process, including reporting to the group and extended reporting at half year/year-end, ensuring data is submitted in line with agreed deadlines.
  2. Prepare the board report for the monthly business reviews, liaising with stakeholders for their contributions to various slides and arranging review with leadership to ensure adequate time for changes before the group meeting.
  3. Conduct monthly variance analysis and margin analysis with supporting insights to inform corrective actions.
  4. Oversee the control of Working Capital, ensuring processes, compliance reviews, and improvements.
  5. Coordinate budgeting and forecasting cycles across the UK.
  6. Develop strategic financial plans, working closely with the leadership team to define both short and long-term financial strategies and creating concrete proposals to optimize operating expenses and business performance.
  7. Drive improvements in UK reporting, developing consistency and accuracy in the data to reconcile different sources of information.
  8. Provide ad-hoc decision-making support for the leadership team.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in an FP&A/Financial Control role.
  2. Experience of operating within a complex organization, with evidence of communicating with a variety of people at different levels.
  3. Multinational company experience in a fast-paced service environment.
  4. Proven analytical ability in identifying and delivering on areas for improvement to finance and operational processes.

  1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or any other international accounting equivalent).
