About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead to guide our Eating Disorders Team within North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT). This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals struggling with eating disorders, providing expert clinical supervision and leadership to a talented team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical supervision to team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Lead and manage the Eating Disorders Team, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Contribute to the strategic development and implementation of services for individuals with eating disorders.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current best practices in eating disorder treatment and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care.

Essential Requirements

  • Substantial experience working at a Band 6 level within a Mental Health setting or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in providing clinical and managerial supervision to healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with team members, patients, and stakeholders.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting best practices in eating disorder treatment.

Desirable Requirements

  • Relevant mental health experience and knowledge of risk management principles.
  • Experience working within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
  • Managerial or leadership training qualifications.
