Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner in Eating Disorders

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic mental health practitioner to join our team as a Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner in Eating Disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to train as a Systemic Family Practitioner in Eating Disorders and become eligible to go on to further training as a Family Therapist.
Key Responsibilities- Work within the Kent & Medway All-Age Eating Disorders Service providing interventions while undertaking a programme of training for this role.
- Provide interventions based on CYP-IAPT care principles and evidence-based interventions consistent with the training course.
- Work in the service for at least 3.0 days of the week using the newly developed skills while attending the training programme for the remaining 2.0 days.
- Must be a CORE trained professional (e.g. social worker, OT, nurse etc).
- Must be able to balance a very busy work and study schedule.
- Must be willing to work towards studies outside of protected study time (such as on weekends and after work).
- Must be willing to travel into London to attend lectures.
The North East London NHS Foundation Trust All-Age Eating Disorders Service is based in the County of Kent. We have a strong focus on training and research and team members benefit from excellent training and CPD opportunities.
