Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in the Kent All Age Eating Disorder service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior medical support to the team, working directly with adults and their families, and liaising with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the management of eating disorders, with a focus on adult patients. They will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance and supervision to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients with eating disorders, and will be committed to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies.

Key Responsibilities- Provide senior medical support to the team and direct input on clinical cases
- Work directly with adults and their families, and liaise with other external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care
- Support their peers and team leader and be an effective team member
- CCT or equivalent
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
