About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Nurse to join our All Age Eating Disorder team in Kent and Medway. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with eating disorders, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide clinical interventions and support to patients, their families, and carers, using evidence-based practice and a person-centered approach.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other healthcare professionals, agencies, and organizations to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and NICE guidelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the development and implementation of treatment plans and service improvements.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration status.
  • Experience of working with patients with eating disorders, including assessment, treatment, and support.
  • High-level knowledge of eating disorders, including theory, practice, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, carers, and other healthcare professionals, using clear and sensitive language.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
