We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Nurse to join our All Age Eating Disorder team in Kent and Medway. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients with eating disorders, working collaboratively with adolescent and adult units to ensure smooth transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with eating disorders, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including adolescent and adult units, to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive care.
  • Support your peers as team leaders, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Liaise with other health professionals, fostering strong relationships and ensuring effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a registered nurse training with NMC registration.
  • Additional professional knowledge through training and in-house programs.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with patients with eating disorders.
  • Experience organizing inter-agency meetings and providing training for professionals.
  • Experience in service development and managing change.
