As a key member of our adult transformation team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategies to improve adult services, particularly in relation to liaison and collaborative working with acute wards, adult community mental health colleagues, and specialist eating disorder Tier 4 units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve adult services, focusing on liaison and collaborative working with acute wards, adult community mental health colleagues, and specialist eating disorder Tier 4 units.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address gaps in adult services, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain effective working relationships, promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support adult services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, promoting professional development and supporting their growth within the organization.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in adult nursing, with a focus on liaison and collaborative working.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve adult services, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of adult mental health services, including eating disorders and community mental health.
