About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Brand Development Specialist to join our team at Selectamark Security Systems plc. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in driving our B2C and B2B marketing initiatives, enhancing brand awareness, and supporting our sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Act as the chief brand ambassador for our two hero brands SelectaDNA and BikeRegister, promoting our products and services through various marketing channels.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis, providing valuable insights to inform our marketing strategies.
  • Event Planning: Plan, set up, and attend exhibitions, conferences, and other marketing events to showcase our products and services.
  • Content Creation: Develop and maintain marketing collateral, including social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, brochures, and press releases, to engage and retain customers.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and business development teams to design and execute lead generation campaigns, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support business objectives, including digital marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Project Management: Manage and optimize our social media channels and website to increase engagement and traffic, using tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Supplier Management: Manage and work closely with third-party suppliers and consultants, including our branding and design agency, to ensure seamless delivery of marketing services.
  • International Support: Support our growing portfolio of international distributors and partners around the world with the latest marketing collateral, promoting our products and services globally.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with a preference for Masters and/or Mini MBA in Marketing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the security or technology sector.
  • Skills: Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, with strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media, SEO, and PPC.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and think creatively.
  • Tools and Software: Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including Salesforce, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Driving License: Use of own car for occasional business use, with a current valid UK driving license.
  • Team Player: Hard-working team player who values integrity and a commitment to never letting the team down, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to get stuck in and get hands dirty.
