Job Title: Marketing Executive

Role Overview: As a Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving both our B2C and B2B marketing initiatives, enhancing brand awareness, and supporting our sales team. You will be responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns, managing our digital presence, and developing engaging content to attract and retain customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Management: Act as the chief brand ambassador for our two hero brands SelectaDNA and BikeRegister, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation across all marketing channels.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis, providing valuable insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Event Planning: Plan, set up, and attend exhibitions, conferences, and other marketing events to showcase our products and services.
  • Content Creation: Develop and maintain marketing collateral, including social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, brochures, and press releases, to engage and inform our target audience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and business development teams to design and execute lead generation campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support business objectives, leveraging digital marketing channels and analytics to measure effectiveness.
  • Content Management: Manage and optimize our social media channels and website to increase engagement and traffic, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Supplier Management: Manage and work closely with third-party suppliers and consultants, including our branding and design agency, to ensure high-quality marketing materials.
  • International Support: Support our growing portfolio of international distributors and partners around the world with the latest marketing collateral, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monthly monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights to inform future marketing strategies.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with a preference for Masters and/or Mini MBA in Marketing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the security or technology sector.
  • Marketing Skills: Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, with strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media, SEO, and PPC.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and think creatively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including Salesforce, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Extremely well-organized, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and be a completer/finisher.
  • Travel Requirements: Use of own car for occasional business use, with a current valid UK driving license.
  • Team Player: Energy and enthusiasm to support the sales team at exhibitions and conferences, with an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to get stuck in and get hands dirty.
  • Integrity: Hard-working team player who values integrity and a commitment to never letting your team down.
