About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Executive to join our team at Selectamark Security Systems plc. As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward through the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Act as the chief brand ambassador for our two hero brands, SelectaDNA and BikeRegister, promoting our products and services to customers and stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis, providing valuable insights to inform our marketing strategies.
  • Event Planning: Plan, set up, and attend exhibitions and conferences to showcase our products and services, and build relationships with customers and partners.
  • Content Creation: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support business objectives, including creating compelling content for digital and print media, such as social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, brochures, and press releases.
  • Marketing Collateral: Create and maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and business development teams to design and execute lead generation campaigns, and work closely with third-party suppliers and consultants to deliver high-quality marketing materials.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing regular updates and insights to inform future marketing strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Masters and/or Mini MBA in Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the security or technology sector.
  • Skills: Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media, SEO and PPC, excellent written and verbal communication skills, creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas, proficiency in marketing software and tools, strong project management skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Personal Qualities: Extremely well-organised, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and be a completer/finisher, use of own car for occasional business use, and a current valid UK driving licence, energy and enthusiasm to support the sales team at exhibitions and conferences, entrepreneurial spirit, willing to get stuck in and get hands dirty, hard-working team player who values integrity and a commitment to never letting your team down.
