Job Title: Marketing Executive


Company Overview: Selectamark Security Systems plc is a leading provider of innovative security solutions, committed to protecting property and ensuring safety through cutting-edge technology and unparalleled service.


Role Overview: As a Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving both our B2C and B2B marketing initiatives, enhancing brand awareness, and supporting our sales team. You will be responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns, managing our digital presence, and developing engaging content to attract and retain customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Management: Act as the chief brand ambassador for our two hero brands SelectaDNA and BikeRegister, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation across all marketing channels.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis, informing marketing strategies and campaign development.
  • Event Planning: Plan, set up, and attend exhibitions, conferences, and other marketing events to showcase our products and services.
  • Content Creation: Develop and maintain marketing collateral, including social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, brochures, and press releases, to engage and inform our target audience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales and business development teams to design and execute lead generation campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support business growth, including digital marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Analytics: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to inform future marketing decisions.
  • Supplier Management: Manage and work closely with third-party suppliers and consultants, including our branding and design agency, to ensure high-quality marketing materials and services.
  • International Support: Support our growing portfolio of international distributors and partners with the latest marketing collateral, ensuring consistent brand representation globally.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Masters and/or Mini MBA in Marketing preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the security or technology sector.
  • Skills: Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns; strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media, SEO, and PPC; excellent written and verbal communication skills; creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas; proficiency in marketing software and tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; extremely well-organized, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and be a completer/finisher; use of own car for occasional business use, and a current valid UK driving licence; energy and enthusiasm to support the sales team at exhibitions and conferences; entrepreneurial spirit, willing to get stuck in and get hands dirty; hard-working team player who values integrity and a commitment to never letting your team down.
