Role Overview:
As a Senior Strategy Partner, you will be pivotal in crafting and executing exceptional cross-disciplinary solutions that enhance the significance of media in the business strategies of your client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Building and nurturing robust relationships with senior global clients, assisting them in identifying and comprehending the critical challenges their businesses face.
  • Utilizing econometrics, business analytics, and insights from previous campaigns to formulate, refine, and implement media guidelines.
  • Ensuring the effective application of insights and planning tools on client briefs to promote business-outcome-focused planning across the media landscape.
  • Generating innovative ideas, media partnerships, and advancements based on the communications strategy, collaborating with various Dentsu specialties and teams.
  • Developing a profound understanding of Dentsu's strengths, products, and pipeline to uncover additional growth opportunities while establishing strategic direction for clients.
  • Creating and advancing a thought leadership agenda that merges cutting-edge marketing theories with practical applications and commercial impact.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members on all facets of planning and strategy.
  • Leading Carat's strategy training initiatives, utilizing Dentsu's best practices and creating new frameworks as necessary.
  • Collaborating with the head of strategy to define the structure, job specifications, competency frameworks, and career progression paths for the strategy team.
  • Effectively engaging with multiple stakeholders across diverse companies, cultures, and countries to influence your agenda.
  • Possessing a strong comprehension of the role of media in delivering business value for contemporary brands.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
  • Cultural awareness, analytical acumen, and an insatiable curiosity.
  • Proficiency in media and communications planning tools and processes.
  • A solid understanding of various sources for market, consumer, and media intelligence.
  • A proven history of identifying and developing insights, measurement, and evaluation projects.
  • Experience in formulating marketing and communications strategies for multi-market clients, with the ability to unify multiple countries behind your strategies while respecting local nuances.
