Role OverviewThe Senior Strategy Partner is tasked with formulating and executing exceptional cross-disciplinary solutions that elevate the significance of media within the business strategy of clients in their portfolio. This role involves expanding the depth and breadth of Carat's collaboration with these clients, managing and nurturing the strategic talent within their team, leading strategy on new business proposals, and assisting the Head of Strategy in defining and implementing the agency's strategic agenda. Key Responsibilities
- Establishing robust relationships with senior global clients to help them recognize and comprehend the critical challenges facing their businesses.
- Utilizing econometrics, business analytics, and historical campaign insights to develop, refine, and implement media guidelines.
- Ensuring the effective and appropriate application of insights and planning tools on client briefs to promote business-outcome-focused planning across the media landscape.
- Generating innovative ideas, media partnerships, and advancements based on the communications strategy while collaborating with various Dentsu specialties and teams.
- Building a comprehensive understanding of Dentsu's strengths, products, and product pipeline to identify additional growth opportunities while developing strategic direction for clients.
- Creating and promoting a thought leadership agenda that merges cutting-edge marketing theories with practical applications and commercial impact.
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members on all facets of planning and strategy.
- Overseeing and advancing Carat's strategy training agenda, leveraging Dentsu's resources and creating new content as necessary.
- Collaborating with the head of strategy to formalize the structure of the strategy team, job specifications, competency frameworks, and career progression pathways.
- Effectively engaging with multiple stakeholders across various companies, cultures, and countries to influence and drive the agenda.
- Possessing a strong comprehension of the role of media in delivering business value for contemporary brands.
- Cultural awareness, analytical capabilities, and an insatiable curiosity.
- Proficient knowledge of media and communications planning tools and processes.
- Strong understanding of diverse sources for market, consumer, and media intelligence.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and developing insights, measurement, and evaluation projects.
- Experience in formulating marketing and communications strategies for multi-market clients, with a proven ability to align multiple countries behind strategies while respecting local nuances.
