This position is dedicated to enhancing the visibility of our wine and spirits portfolio within The Nyetimber Group, optimizing brand potential through the execution of trade marketing strategies aligned with our established brand vision and guidelines. You will oversee the implementation of On-Trade and Off-Trade initiatives for both domestic and international projects, aiming to elevate brand recognition, drive customer engagement, and boost conversion rates across Nyetimber.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide insights into the Trade Marketing strategy for both On and Off-Trade channels, including high-end hotels, exclusive group accounts, luxury retailers, independent wine merchants, and beverage distributors.
  • Manage and execute Spirits activations in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver comprehensive plans that are impactful, timely, and budget-conscious.
  • Oversee internal digital communications for Trade Marketing, compiling activation details, imagery, and relevant links to regularly update our Digital team and ensure effective amplification of our initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to enhance our brand's presence in their physical and digital environments.
  • Coordinate with the Design team for the creation of marketing materials such as menus, advertisements, and digital content.
  • Maintain daily communication with the sales team, providing marketing tools to enhance brand visibility across various account levels.
  • Assist the Senior Trade Marketing Manager with the execution of international projects as needed.
  • Prepare post-activity reports to evaluate Return On Investment and capture essential insights.
  • Engage with key National Accounts to implement the annual operating plan focused on consumer engagement, promotional pricing, point-of-sale creation, visual merchandising, and leveraging insights to influence trade behavior.
  • Support brand activation proposals aligned with commercial objectives to secure tenders.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities and pricing strategies in both domestic and international markets.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and market insights for the On Trade and Retail sectors.
  • Organize and participate in trade and customer events, utilizing opportunities to gather innovative point-of-sale or creative concepts for feedback to the Brand team.
  • Ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks, including point-of-sale requests and necessary registrations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in executing innovative campaigns across on-trade and retail accounts.
  • Understanding of the Consumer Journey from initial brand exposure to product purchase.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of omni-channel marketing and the ability to devise strategies that generate interest and demand for the brand in both on and off trade accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills or a deep understanding of target customers to develop effective engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate high levels of motivation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly for briefings and feedback delivery.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and meet established targets.
  • Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Practical and systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and Adobe Creative Suite.

Experience:

  • Background in trade marketing and activations within the wine and spirits sector.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and their optimal utilization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong academic credentials.
  • WSET qualification.
