Job Title: Senior Manager, Global Franchise Strategy
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead the development and execution of our global franchise strategy. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of the entertainment industry, brand management, and global market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Global Franchise Strategy: Transform long-range portfolio vision into actionable plans, drive alignment and delivery of the plan across the Hasbro Blueprint, and oversee the strategic planning and rollout of all brand content.
- Lead Franchise Messaging and Storytelling: Develop and communicate franchise messaging and storytelling for major presentations, ensuring alignment to global franchise and content strategies.
- Content Creation and Management: Deliver content creation in line with the franchise direction, oversee the relationship with the brand's production team, and provide direction on characters, locations, vehicles, themes, accessories, storytelling, scripts, series arcs, and so forth.
- Global Franchise Positioning: Drive global franchise positioning to maximize commercial potential, oversee the definition of brand identity and tone of voice, and ensure meaningful consumer position against competition.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner with cross-functional teams globally and locally to set, align, and drive the activation of the long-range global brand strategy and global content production and roll out plans.
- Brand Tracking and Research: Oversee brand tracking, industry and consumer research initiatives, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Thought Leadership: Act as a thought-leader and global market house expert on all brand aspects, sharing and leveraging insights to inspire and align activation plans.
Requirements:
- Education: Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Experience: 6+ years' experience in Brand Planning / Development / Management within Entertainment, preferably within Kids.
- Skills: Demonstrated expertise in transforming strategy into actionable plans, innovative thinking, and integrated approach to building global brands.
- Global Sensibility: Significant experience of working with international teams, agencies, and 3rd party partners.
- Business Acumen: Strong business and commercial acumen, comfortable interpreting and working with financial and performance data.
- Communication: Inspires and recognizes strong creative, communicates a vision, and presents ideas and recommendations in a way that aligns others quickly to support.
