Second Line Support Technician
Join a forward-thinking technology organization during an exciting phase of growth. We are seeking a Second Line Support Technician to deliver exceptional service to clients throughout the UK. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge in Microsoft environments, VoIP systems, and networking. This position offers a hybrid work model, including visits to client locations. A valid driving license is required.

Company Overview:
Our client is based in Hampshire, conveniently accessible from surrounding areas. This role includes hybrid working arrangements along with necessary site visits. The compensation package includes a salary of up to £35,000 and a company vehicle.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve technical issues at a second line level across a diverse array of technologies.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance while ensuring effective communication with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Engage in various project tasks, including server and network setup and configuration.
  • Uphold high standards of documentation, including the development of training resources for first-line support staff.
  • Be accountable for documenting any escalated issues thoroughly.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and SharePoint.
  • Background in antivirus solutions, data backup, networking, telephony, and end-user support.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
