Clinical Research Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering renal research within our organization.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe Research Assistant will be responsible for:
- Collecting and recording clinical trial data onto electronic or paper Case Report Forms (CRFs)
- Ensuring data quality and accuracy, and resolving any discrepancies or queries
- Supporting patient recruitment and retention efforts, including conducting telephone calls and documenting patient interactions
- Working collaboratively with research nurses and clinicians to ensure smooth study execution
- Developing and utilizing systems for tracking patients and ensuring data collection
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:
- Undergraduate degree or substantial relevant experience in Clinical Trial Data Management
- Numeracy and Literacy Skills (GCSE Science, Maths, English or equivalent)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven IT skills and ability to learn new systems
