About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Clinical and Patient Services team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across our clinical wards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clinical teams to complete medicines reconciliation and ensure appropriate medicines management.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operational organisation of the dispensaries, including the safe, efficient, and timely dispensing of prescriptions.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the dispensaries, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to departmental policies.

Requirements

  • BTEC/NVQ Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) Certificate.
  • Post-qualification hospital experience, including supervision of staff and patient counselling.
