About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Clinical and Patient Services team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.

As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across our clinical wards. You will work closely with our clinical teams to complete medicines reconciliation and ensure appropriate medicines management.

You will also be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of our dispensary teams, ensuring that prescriptions are dispensed safely and efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in pharmacy practice, with experience of working in a hospital setting. You will also need to be able to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing your workload effectively.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clinical teams to complete medicines reconciliation and ensure appropriate medicines management
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of dispensary teams
  • Ensure that prescriptions are dispensed safely and efficiently
