About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Clinical and Patient Services team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across our hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clinical teams to complete medicines reconciliation and ensure appropriate medicines management.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operational organisation of the dispensaries, including the safe, efficient and timely dispensing of prescriptions.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the dispensaries at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust - St Helier site.

Requirements

  • BTEC / NVQ Level 3 Certified Pharmacy Technician registered with GPhC.
  • Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) Certificate.
  • Post qualification hospital experience.
  • Experience in supervision of staff.
  • Patient counselling.
