Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week (1.0 wte)

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate pharmacist to join our multidisciplinary team specializing in substance misuse services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing evidence-based clinical practices, effective medication management, and service innovation across the Lothian substance misuse network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review medication policies and guidelines.
- Implement medication review systems and provide clinical guidance.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to local and national initiatives in substance misuse care.
The ideal candidate will be a UK registered pharmacist with a relevant postgraduate clinical qualification and substantial experience in pharmaceutical care within either secondary or primary care settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Membership in the PVG Scheme/Disclosure Scotland is required. An independent prescribing qualification or a willingness to pursue this qualification is preferred to enable direct clinical care delivery.
