Position Overview:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Addiction Recovery Support Specialist to become a part of our dedicated team at Search.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to assisting individuals in overcoming addiction challenges and will provide exceptional support to those in need.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Client Support:
    Deliver personalized, one-on-one assistance to clients, guiding them through their recovery journey and helping them achieve their rehabilitation objectives.
  • Implementation of Care Strategies:
    Work collaboratively with clients to develop and adhere to tailored care strategies that cater to their specific requirements and situations.
  • Access to Essential Services:
    Support clients in navigating and obtaining necessary health care, housing, employment, and additional support services. Provide immediate intervention during crisis situations to ensure the safety and welfare of clients.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in supporting individuals facing addiction or in a similar role is essential.
  • A relevant qualification in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Familiarity with addiction issues, recovery methodologies, and the social services framework.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
