As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to our addiction services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and management to the addiction services team, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient-centered care.
- Manage and supervise the assessment of care needs, ensuring that NHS Lothian's standards, values, and beliefs are upheld.
- Enhance the patient experience by ensuring that the highest standard of personalized assessment, treatment, care, and support is delivered.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that the department is efficiently managed, including the management of the allocated budget.
- Carry out initial assessments of detainees with a view to identifying any pressing medical needs.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a strong background in addiction care.
- Proven experience in clinical leadership and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
